this kid--and my joy is that he still does it back!

We were going to have the party at the park, but cold, rain-threatening weather came on that day, so last minute, I got decorations for the house, and threw some games from the old days together: hot potato, tug of war, pin Spidey's mask on his eyes, throw the baseball through the moving hula hoop, etc. The kids loved it! The old classics never fail.
This is what Nick wore on his actual birthday since it was on a Sunday. Very classy!! He came home with an Article of Faith and wanted to write it out and start memorizing it. We love this kid! He has a strong sense of right and wrong and is very content to do what is right.
RE: His birthday--
As is custom, next week he will likely tell me what theme he wants to have for his birthday party next year.
