Reading Rocks!

This ginormous quote is painted on the wall just outside the libary at Nick's new school. The rest of the walls are all windows to the ceiling, so that wherever you are around the libary, you can see the books from 3 sides! I love it!
Books and magazines take up part of our every day in our house. For our own memories I want to list some that we have loved and spent time with over the past few years.
Scriptures
LDS Church magazines: The Friend, New Era, Ensign
Family Fun magazine
Eating Well magazine
Live Simply magazine
Energy Time magazine
Harry Potter series
Junie B Jones (both kids)
Margaret Haddix series (Maddie)
City of Ember series
Magic Tree House series (both)
Candy Apple series (Mads)
Mysteries (all)
Cheryl Richardson, Suze Orman, Dr. Phil
Merilee Boyack, Dean Hughes, Jason F. Wright
Dr. Kevin Leman, Richard & Linda Eyre
Amish fiction (various authors)
lately loved The Secret and Eat, Love, Pray
as well as I Don't Have To Make Everything All Better
A huge list of what I've read and how I've rated them is on http://www.goodreads.com/ which is a cool way to 'log' what you've read and read reviews by others.
Ted's list is sooo long and so unique, he'll have to post it if he wants to on his blog, http://www.tedessentialist.blogspot.com/ which is private, but if you want to see it simply let us know and he'll invite you. It's zany and philosophical and full of musings on life.
Ted and I have decided one of our #1 choice of trips will be a gorgeous white, sandy beach, clear turquiose-ish waters vacation with only books & swimsuit & sweats in our suitcase.
