Nick saw me running last month. I can't remember why or where; well, I was late somewhere...maybe the airport, a meeting at school or church...somewhere. And I broke out into a run. He later said, "Mom, I didn't know you could run. I've never seen you run before." Crack up! Unfortunately, it's true. It hurts to run. Lots of jiggles. I love to exercise, to kick-box, to dance, to go to a Zumba class (that rocks my latina-wanna-be-blood), or even to lift weights, do yoga, pilates. whatever. Nick has seen me do most of these at home; he can sing along with Pat Benetar or Queen or Michael Jackson. Anyway, at my kids' age, I don't have a lot of funny stories about hilarious things they say. So I had to post this one.
Although, I was reminded of a great quote by Nick on Friday (when we went to Chuck E Cheese; my kids still enjoy the games there). It was one of Nick's toddler prayer (years ago) when I heard him from the hallway say, "and bless our friend, Chuck E. Leese..."
