Doll Drama (thanks to Toy Story 3)

If you have seen Toy Story 3, you'll recognize this cute baby as the NEWER version of the 'henchman' baby tattered-doll in the movie. In the movie, her sweet eyelid is half shut and she has dirty clothes (just those sewn-on underwear I think). She walks slowly and towers over the other toys. Anyway, a day or two after we watched it, we babysat a sweet little girl named Sophia who brought this doll to our house and inadvertently left it at our house (which has never had any dolls;  Maddie always hated dolls and loved Barney, Elmo, D.W., Pooh, etc).

Because of freaky-alive baby on Toy Story 3, both my kids AND Ted were freaked out by this cute NEW baby that Sophia left at our house. And Maddie and Ted began to hide it in each other's closets and rooms...then it turned into Maddie "setting it up" each night in crazy scenarios in Ted's study.

Scenario #1

Scenario #2 (set up by Nick)

Scenario #3
She has both hands around Ted's wallet...

The other funny one that I don't have a photo of was when Maddie set the doll up one morning right in front of Ted's face; he was asleep on the living room floor (his Friday night choice of sleep zones; he falls asleep watching ESPN or sports news) and Maddie woke up before him (how rare; he's an early riser) and she set the doll up, sitting right in front of his face so he'd see it immediately upon opening his eyes. which he did. he was SUPER surprised!

We hung on to the doll for about one week because the kids and Ted were having so much fun. So thanks, Maegan and Sophia, for letting us be entertained and creative with one of your baby dolls!  :)

This is too funny. Can't wait to do the same once Lucie gets some dolls.
