A long-time north Texas public school tradition, parents (as chaperones) and all 5th grade teachers and students head off to YMCA camp in Possum Kingdom, "Camp Grady Spruce"--
by the way, Ted said it was "the best time of my life"
uh, what about our wedding, our honeymoon, our trip to Chile????
no, i'm not the jealous time,
I say, "Have the BEST time!" and I mean it!
My farewell to my boys--
Ted was doing his "Witness Protection Program/Don't Take My Photo/Line-Up" Photo with his cohort of chaperones, Mr. DoPorto and son, Trey, who have been friends of Nick since Kindergarten (both were in Mrs. Goodpaster's class). Both dads have coached flag football and baseball together almost every year for the past 4 years. Great friends, great family.
And Mr. D called us at 10:00pm a week ago to tell us that 3 police cars were in our front yard where they had caught someone red-handed (in a red car no less) who parked IN OUR DRIVEWAY!
Needless to say, we were peeking out windows over garage, but we did NOT go outside.
now, on to the highlight of Camp Grady Spruce trip:

Anway, all the teachers had to jump as they lost a bet with the kids; Ted did just for FUN!!!!
We love our dad, especially when he is wild-n-crazy!!!
