Battle of the Books at Sendera Ranch Elementary

We took 1st place :) and we had a blast!!!!
Stacie de Haan had the idea to all wear crazy hats, so we did!!

Nick, Parker, and Malik on their team. They did great! It was such a fun time!!
We were the first parent team in the district and in our school. We went up against all kids teams and teacher teams (won all of them) Woo hoo!!

That is so neat, Robyn! It sounds like your school has a ton of interest in Battle. We have a hard time scraping up enough kids who want to be on our school team each year! We don't have a school competition--kids who read the books over the summer and are interested take a test to qualify for the team. Everyone who tests makes it because we have so little interest. I wish we had more excitement about it!
