Every year our elementary school has BOOSTERTHON to raise money via PTA. It is by far the most effective fundraiser a school can do. We earn near $30,000 each year and after paying the Boosterton staff we still end up with LOADS of money for cool programs, teachers, the school, and students.

And every year, I go for several hours and DANCE MY HEART OUT to all the groovin' tunes they play for hours while the kids run around a small track, usually running 35-50 laps. I should work for this company! Then I could dance OFTEN for hours!! Some energetic twenty-somethings come to the school every day for several weeks leading up to this big run, to talk about character traits, to pump up the kids with cheers and chants and Positive Mental Attitudes. Kids ask family members for pledges per lap and they try to get pledges for ALL 50 states--they usually succeed!!!
