This year, we did something FUN! We decorated little white "Valentine Mailboxes" and kept them out on the bar all month long. We put little messages and treats in them for each other. It was such a terrific way to put notes of encouragement, to say "thanks" for something, and to surprise each other.
So I fell in love with these chocolate heart lips which I found in the front area of Target, in the dollar bins (although I think a package of 10 was $2.50).
And I was crazy about the notes Nick wrote me!! He wrote Maddie some cute ones to encourage her during a rough month of being bullied by some jealous girls who can't handle Maddie's Enthusiastic Personality and Shiny Self.

If you go back up to the photo of all four, you can see a photo of Maddie's long-time, permanent crush, SJP. Utah born-n-bred, friend of her cousins, and extremely handsome! :)
