5K número 3

A few weeks ago Ted ran his 3rd race, a 5K, for a great cause: a girl who died of a sudden abnormal heart irregularity. He has been training and we are all so proud! Of course I tripped over (Nick or my own feet) running to see him get to the finish line: in front of about 40 people. I still have scars on my elbow and knees where I caught myself. My hands weren't free, of course, because I was gripping my camera to get this photo...(posting soon) Next race: May 31st--a family affair! Then Ted is gearing up for a summer 10K run (in this heat and humidity, I hope he doesn't pass out!) Way to go, Steve! One of these days we'll have to talk about 'Steve'...
