Kudos to Maddie McMartt-Mart

Scripture Jeopardy host: Marty McMartt-Mart.

This year Maddie's teacher recommended her for the annual UIL competition. When I know what that stands for, I'll insert it. :) They have every subject under the sun, it's a scholastic/academic competition with many districts all over Fort Worth (pop. 500,000 or so). She has competed in this area before 2 years ago, the dramatic reading category. She memorizes a poem and recites it full of energy and emotion. Her coach at school helped her pick an excellent poem which I will also add her soon. Maddie did fabulous, of course. She was born to perform on stage, particularly anything dramatically related. She went on to the finals and placed FIFTH overall! We are so happy for her! We love it when she "hosts" Family Home Evening or Game Night with us or among friends. Even then, she dresses up and has a "host" name, complete this last time, with wearing one of Nick's white button-down shirts and Ted's red polka-dotted tie.
