This a tribute to friends here in Texas. I am blessed with many wonderful friends of whom a varied bunch are shown here; still, there are more who I don't have photos of, but whom I love and appreciate!!
Farewell luncheon for 2 sister missionaries who adored us and we adored them: Sister Cardinal and Sister Skousen, the most musical, fired up, scripture memorizing, loving, enthusiastic missionaries ever! 
One of two bookclubs who went to hear the 2 authors speak from a recent book we read. This is a small part of our Time Out For Women book club. I also brought my YMCA Seniors/Active Older Adults' Book Club to this dinner. They were all dressed up and thrilled to meet these local authors. A bunch of 'cool chicks' from church at a birthday luncheon for May birthdays.Last week some of these and others went out for June birthday dessert night and stayed til they were sweeping up under the empty tables around us. It was wonderful! It is so fun to get to know all the women around you and find out the uniqueness of each, that each has her trials, and that each has her gifts and something to share. I love girlfriends!
