The coach's wife, the socially endowed moi, planned a big team party last month. Luckily, another team mom offered her huge backyard pool, trampoline, and playhouse for the shin-dig.
Ted gave each boy an award (and trophy from the league) that reflected on his achievements during the season. The team was not the championship team, but played hard and came a long way together. Here is the award Ted gave Nick (Ted was head coach):

Ted plans to volunteer as head coach again next year, now that he has past the learning curve and knows the ropes and how the league works. The Buck boys had a blast this season!
