Here is Nick on his first day at Tarrant County College's "College For Kids" showing his schedule.
They went Monday through Thursday from 1pm to 5pm for 3 weeks. Talk about quiet time for me! :)
Both kids LOVED their classes! and learned their way around the campus pretty quick.
Nick took: Tae Kwondo, French, Oceanography, and BasketballHe brought home a French menu, a French 'person' that he described all in French. Of course, he loved his sports' classes and was able to show off his Tae Kwondo moves on the last day.
Maddie took: Fashion Design, Musical Theatre, Basketball, and Hip Hop. Since her classes were more for the stage, she was able to perform in the finale for 3 of her classes.
Maddie designed flip flops, capris, a skirt made from jeans, sewed a bag out of handkerchiefs, a purse out of jeans, and tie-dyed a shirt and some socks; plus some jewelry...they had a short Fashion Show on the last night. Her Hip Hop class performed and so did her Musical Theatre class.

We love to have found this (at the college I have been working at) and look forward to it next year.
