Frankenstein, you've got a buddy now
with a stitched up cheek--
Last night our calm, obedient, sweet-tempered dog bit Nick on the cheek when Nick was hugging him (a little too hard?) WHAT A TRAGEDY! Nick still loves him; Ted still wants him (miracle) and we all feel bad for both boys :) The dog growls when hugged to much or grabbed around the neck; we have strong suspicions that he was abused by a past owner. He sleeps on the ends of our beds, we pet him and stratch his ears and jaws (he loves that) and he loves to lay by us while we read or watch movies. Nick had to get stitches (3) and braved the needle that numbed his jaw--that was the worst part--just hearing the news that he had to get "sutures". By law, doctors have to report dog bites, so Animal Care showed up the next day and wanted to quarantine the dog (put him in an extensive 10-day "time out") but when we took Boston in and they saw how tame he is, and when they found out it was "an in home bite" and thirdly, that we still wanted him, they told us we could keep him at our house!! Merry Christmas, Boston!!!
