8:00am Parade to kick off Field Day (office staff and principal Suzie McNeese rode in bright yellow cars) followed by each grade level. Fifth grade led the way!
Each grade represented different countries (and had studied those countries and made flags)
Fifth grade was U.S.A.
Nick and his class had a huge water fight, which they LOVED!
Then they had lots of relays, like batting a potato across a field...
and walking in BIG FEET as fast as they could...

Nick and Mrs. Bass's homeroom, fifth grade "Nellers" (Nick's nickname that took off this year, but teachers didn't like it...long story!)
Moms and dads were there to help run games. I was there to heckle the kids along with Stacie de Haan, my D.I. co-coach--we were having a blast!!! ha ha!
I still got some good moves, for being 40-something...
