Maddie and Nick played basketball on school teams. Anyone can play and it is free. It's a really neat perk at our elementary school. It was Nick's 1st year and Maddie's 3rd year. She is getting really good! Her team went to the finals and lost by just a few points.
Nick loved playing. He constantly dribbled the ball around the tile in kitchen and halls and out front. Every single day; he "had" to practice. When he made his first basket, Ted and I jumped up cheering. I hate to admit, I had tears in my eyes. No joke.
